dartmouth01
Man, currently on AT&T and waiting to see if they'll announce something like T-Mobile, Sprint, and now Verizon has done over the past few weeks. Its almost time to get new phones, but I'm trying to wait for the dust to settle on these cellular wars.
SpaceNorman
Seems to me that until a competing network provider offers coverage that at least comes close to that which is available through Verizon - there really isn't much real choice out there for a highly mobile user. We spent this past summer meandering around Michigan's lower peninsula. In most locations we stopped at - my corporate issued Verizon Jetpack provided me with "3-4 bars" of connectivity while our personal cell phones (provisioned on the Sprint network) teased us with "1x" service. While Verizon certainly ain't the cheapest provider out there - as somebody who regularly works an IT day gig from our coach - the decision to move everything to Verizon was a "no brainer".
