To coordinate with the rig black or smoke would look best but we are concerned about it darkening the rig too much. Comments? Options are white, smoke or black. We have lots of windows in our rig that let in the sunlight, so putting a smoked cover on a small vent was a non-issue. Open up all the shades in your unit and see what portion of the light is actually coming through the vents. In our rig (if the vent covers weren't there), it would be about 2%. gg923 Posted October 28, 2015 Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 We went with smoke and are really glad we did on those bright sunny mornings when we are trying to sleep in a little (we have a fan in the BR). LIke, Rob L we have plenty of windows to let light in. LFDR3116 Posted October 28, 2015 Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 We have smoke. Have been in units with the white or clear and the sun was hot down thru them. Also if you end up near an overhead light in a campground, the smoke helps difuse that light. It can be pretty bright sometimes.
