Dollytrolley
Just what the RV world needs.......Alum-a-hitch..........I have spent most of "adult-life" chasing and stop-drilling cracks in Al airframes...... most hi-strength Al alloys (7075-T7 , 2024-T3, even 6066-T6) are HUGELY susceptible to stress-cracking with a simple scratch that becomes a "stress-riser" ( this is a surface flaw that WILL give birth to a crack IF sufficent stress is flowing thru the affected region). How many RV folks are going tp be willing to throw a hitch or hitch mount away because of a scratch that is just a.........scratch.........UNTILL it becomes a CRACK! Alum is better saved and used for DrPepper cans........ Drive on......(stay hitched) 97 Freightshaker Century Cummins M11-370 / 1350 /10 spd / 3:08 /tandem/ 20ft Garage/ 30 ft Curtis Dune toybox with a removable horse-haul-module to transport Dolly-The-Painthorse to horse camps and trail heads all over the Western U S
