Star Dreamer
You probably need to find out more info on the truck to make sure it will meet your needs. Such as if you plan to haul a smart you need to know what the dimensions are to back of cab and if you need to extend the frame. Other items such as how well was it maintained, has it been smoked in if that is a concern, does it have what you want in amenities like autoshifting, dual air ride seats, etc..., will it need new tires or any major maintenance soon. 2005 Freightliner Century S/T, Singled, Air ride ET Jr. hitch 2019 46'+ Dune Sport Man Cave custom 5th wheel toy hauler Owner of the 1978 Custom Van "Star Dreamer" which might be seen at a local car show near you! I'm hauling a RZR XP 1000 in mine. Straight line, my F450 handles my Raptor trailer with no issues. However, downhill and overall safety is a different story. Rolling downhill from the ECR last weekend was a 7.5% grade for 2.4 miles. I put the jake brake on the second position and didn't touch the brakes all the way down. We rolled downhill, safely, at 45mph. It was literally awesome. Here's some more information on truck - http://www.followmybuild.com/bmzero/Volvo-730-HDT-RV-Hauler My next step is building the bed. I do plan on hauling a Smart car on the back. Let me know if I can help in any way.
