travelinbob
I washed the roof of our fifth wheel yesterday, also washed the awning material and then stowed it until we were done. When I went to extend it I could see it move, just a little and then nothing. I checked the fuse and it was OK but it seemed as it was in a locked or a stuck position. I hauled out the ladder and checked everything out. Our neighbor came over and asked if maybe it had a rain sensor........No, we had the awning in the out position many times in the rain to keep the patio dry. Then I considered the wind sensor.....I disabled it and all worked OK. I'm not sure if the wind sensor on the roof had water in it or what. I'm going to wait until we get to our next destination in a couple days to enable the wind sensor again and see if it works. FYI if it happens to you. 2006 Elite Suite 36TK32001 F-550 Starhaulerwww.mytripjournal.com/elitesuitestravelsIN GOD WE TRUST
Big Greg
Water has screwed up our rooftop wind sensor, it would cause the awning control to beep. After 2 years we no longer enable the sensor. bobsallyh
When I wash the roof on our fiver, the worthless wind sensor gets wet and I have to wait awhile before operating the awning in or out.
