The Class-less Class

It's been drizzling rain all afternoon but I did get two half mile walks in today. The weather prevaricator says more of the same tomorrow. I didn't get much charge from the solar panels today so will be going into the night with only 85% of the charge in my batteries. I'm facing east here and my panels need me facing west to work their best. I don't think they have any stars down here. At least I haven't seen any as yet. A new neighbor that pulled in today came over and talked a while. When I told him I last lived in the NC mountains he went to his rig and got the book "Charles Kurault's America". One of the chapters was of the area I lived in. I knew all the people and places he wrote about. That chapter of the book was written in the spring of 1995 while I lived there. It brought back some fond memories. So even if the weather was bad I enjoyed the day.

I think we've done it all with our Super Bowl activities. We've visited the stadium, Phoenix Super Bowl Central and even the ESPN FanFest. I've even got theTshirt to prove it. I also had to pick up a SEAHAWKS one for our son and sent it FedEx to him so he'd have it for the game. Today we had to buy a Patriot TShirt for a someone we know here. That was very hard to do! I don't want any of my family knowing that I bought a Patriots Tshirt.

I got lots of practice twiddling my thumbs today. It drizzled most of the day. Just enough to make everything nasty. That liar at the weather station says more sprinkles tomorrow but a few Rays of sunshine later in the day. I'm about all Steved out. I've taken so many Steve's today I probably won't sleep tonight. My only consulation is that Yuma looks like it's getting more rain than we are. When I talk to myself I have to get the dictionary out to see what babble babble means.

Well, we don't seem to get NBC in the spot we are in here on Plomosa Road so we will lift jacks and move a little ways and see if we can pick it up so we can watch the Super Bowl. IF we can't I think we will be moving to Tonopah. Because New England is Diane's team there is going to be NO way she will let me let her miss it.

Leave it to the boys! Put it on my tab.

It rained most of the day yesterday and more expected today. However, Super Bowl Sunday is expected to be dry when the Seahawks annihilate the Patriots !

I tried to post this afternoon using my iPad air and Verizon jetpack. While I was writing it I got a notice from Verizon that my password had been changed and if I hadn't changed it to call. While I was calling something used up all 5 GB of my monthly data allocation and I was getting notices that 75% then 90% and finally over 100% of my data had been used. All within just a few minutes while I was waiting on the phone for customer service. I turned the jetpack off. All customer service told me is I must have used the data. When I insisted that it wasn't me that used it. They told me to call the Fraud department Monday morning. As I am now stuck with only the smart phone I won't be posting much till I get the straightened out. My fingers are too big for this micro sized key pad.

We're back on Plamosa Rd. About a mile west of where we were at. Had to come here to watch the Super Bowl. Can someone tell me how to get

to the 14 day BLM area around Lake Havasu? Rode the bikes over to visit with Jeff and Tina. They were still in the same spot. Hey Lee, sounds like your having some bad luck. Hope you get it straightened out. Ya,ll be safe!

Don't know where that is, but Brad and Marilyn would. They don't do the forum tho.

We'll be in Havasu starting next Friday, for 7 weeks. Looks like a bunch of us will be there.

GO PATS!!!!!

Today is the day! Pats are going to get wiped!! T-Shirts at the Super Bowl NFL locations started at $35 to about $65. You could get team specifics, both teams or just Super Bowl logo shirts. Folks were handing out money right and left for those and anything bigger than a small were going fast especially in the women's t-shirts. I hate to admit it but we were part of those people buying up shirts too. Then, we discovered even the local Wal-Mart here carried Super Bowl T-shirts starting at $16.88 but I already had mine. At Wal-Mart they weren't flying off the shelf because they weren't for one team or the other. Don't know if we'll see any more Pat shirts today.

I have a friend who just went through the same thing with Verizon. They had mostly been in a park using the park's wifi that month. This month they are documenting every usage of it. When he posted something about it online he got a lot of response from others indicating the same thing. Verizon wouldn't listen to him either.

Our daughter is on our Verizon plan and she is claiming the same. We're still grandfathered into the unlimited so, I don't pay any attention to our usage. Her part on our plan is tiered and we get charged extra if she goes over. We thought at first that she may have some rogue apps running in the background but, now I'm starting to smell a rat! We told her to take it to a Verizon store for help. If any of you come up with more info on this please share. I will see what I can come up with...it's a "brave new world" out there! <_<

I don't use a smartphone (Lynn does) so, I'm a bit in the dark about how to use one. However, I came across this thread and perhaps it has some things to try: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s5/389959-verizon-galaxy-s5-data-usage-through-roof.html
