    I just got an email for your post....maybe check your settings? I'd even try unchecking the box and rechecking. Sometimes that works for me. Stupid computers... :huh::D

    Actually, my computer hard drive bit the dust. I haven't had the "real" one for almost a week. I've been in withdrawal mode. Thank goodness for the little substitutes.

    Jeri - Hope to see everyone in the area that is why we are staying 2 weeks. Christmas Party? Are you going back to PNW for Christmas?

    I was thinking maybe a Christmas get together or lunch since so many will be in the area the week before. Right now I probably won't be going to the PNW for Christmas. Terry may fly up a day or two before and back the day after. I need someone to transport all the packages we've wrapped and it's cheaper for him to fly up with them than to mail them!! :)

    Going to Q?

     

    Our "plan" is to leave Indio and go to Borrego Springs for a week or so tomorrow. After that Yuma then Phoenix just before Christmas for a couple of weeks. Then to the desert.

     

    Anyone going to do Escapade in Tucson? Guess there are only boondocking spaces left.

    Right now the plan is to go to Escapade, maybe. I know there were a couple others thinking about it including Freddy. We've not been able to really make too many plans out of this area. Terry's mom has had a few more issues. Plus with Justin's dog, we aren't quite as free as we had been. Justin may be deployed to the Persian Gulf (again) in January. If not, he's talking about flying out to Phoenix for a few days in January. We don't know a thing yet.

     

    Let's get together when you get this way over the Christmas holiday ... maybe we can have our own Christmas party!

    Just a update. My therapist says I am doing great. She is pretty sadistic but has me ahead of schedule. Next Dr. app is the 15th, if he turns me loose we will try to scratch the hitch itch before Christmas.

    On another note, We had to put our black cat Colie down yesterday. Had not been well for a while and quit eating a week ago. We are morning but know that he is better off in cat haven. He was 16 years old.

    We are still hanging out here in Casa Grande, just a little over half way through our 3 month stay. There are so many activities here that we have to plan for down time. We have even talked about extending our stay or at least returning after hitting Q for a couple weeks.

     

    Boy! Do I ever understand that ! We're kind of in the same boat. However, we do have reservations elsewhere for January but no idea yet for February!

    It was nasty in Mesa last night too. There was lots of rain and wind. Ick! Hopefully, that's behind us now and sunny skies are ahead. I really hate it that we can't watch the NFL games we want to. Dish convinced us yesterday to sign up for NFL RedZone to watch the Seahawks. We saw about 10% of the game as it switched back and forth to other games. We cancelled it just about as fast as we signed up for it. Of course, that was probably a game we didn't want to watch anyway.

    Well being that it's almost Thanksgiving, I'll start it off. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone.

     

    How will you be spending the day?

     

    Here at Spiker's RV Resort, 2 stalls in the shop have been cleared, the Bachlor Table for 12 has been set up, and friends, neighbors, and family will be sitting around enjoying each others company. Yes the Grape Juice will be flowing as will other drinks of choice.

    We will have to cut our winter travels short. Here's the irony.

    Well, at least you know your brother is finally speaking to you and has been jealous. You may have more in common in the future now. Maybe you can get someone to check on your father going forward. At least I hope there are options for you.

    Setting in Beaumont, Tx visiting with daughter and son in law and our grandsons. Plan on being here until after thanksgiving. Left the RV in Casa Grande, Az and drove the truck over. Now waiting on the flash as Jeri goes east and then another as she returns to the west.

    As we drove by Deming, NM we thought of Lee and how much he meant to all of us.

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Huh?? Dessert?? who said dessert! I guess it's time to drag out the "old ice cream machine" and get with the program. We're still in Pigeon forge for a few more days. The weather here has been great but the trees are losing their bloom pretty quickly now. This park has cleared out during the week and just the weekend warriors are showing up now. Time to head out for Red Bay Alabama and get the scrapes fixed. Pulling the pin in the morning...Till then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

     

     

    We'll be in Knoxville next week. If you see a puff of smoke going past you heading west, it's us!!

    Our friend Key also stays at that TT park in Vegas and he was telling us what a mess it is and how they aren't doing anything to repair the damage. That's too bad. Lots of sunshine here in the Valley.

     

    They aren't keeping repairs up. Laundry/bathroom smelled like sewer. We won't be back. We're outta here tomorrow.

    We're not "happy campers" with the Thousand Trails park in Vegas. It's a real mess. The storm damage from 8 months ago is still laying around the pool area. We have 4AM noisy neighbors and we even had to use a shoe horn to get into our spot. We'll probably be out of here in a few days ... have to meet with cousin first and then we're on the road to somewhere .... probably. Weather is supposed to improve. It's been nasty too.

    Just thought I'd add to that .......... we're currently under beautiful blue skies. The sun was shining yesterday and the temperature was actually warm during the day. However, we did have to turn the furnace on this morning after leaving windows open last night. It'll be another beautiful day as we continue our slow trek south.
