    Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone on the forum. We will be spending it in Demming New Mexico on our way to Quartzsite. Safe travels.
  2. Hey mr cob. We will be getting there on the 29th will look to see where all the trucks are parked.
  3. Stopped for a few nights on way to quartzite. Sunset reef campground 32.119290, -104.424605. Blm campground 5 pull through sites picnic tables with pavilion over them about 7 tent sites and a very clean pit toilet, and 8 trash cans that get emptied. Level sites hard packed rock with concrete around table. Fire pit and grill too. 5 night max stay and free.
  4. Same on ours, if it’s at 1400-1450 at the start of a hill it will just keep climbing. If it’s not that high it’s down shift time.
  5. Can’t wait to see it.
  6. Won’t find us now we’re at a corp. of engineers park on Waco lake in Texas
  7. Have had it exactly 1 year and right around 7500-7600 + tax. All the roof installers charge by the linear ft for that roof. That includes taking things off roof, prepping spraying roof and putting top coat on and reinstalling everything. They do one solar panel removal and install in the price but any extra panels are 75 each if I remember right. Just got set up on Waco lake and got up there to look real good and take pictures. I looked at it from a ladder when we picked up Friday but was raining and I didn’t get on it. It is about 75 % quieter than just the pvc roof was. He rounded our roof measurement to 42 feet. I think it comes out to around 155 a linear ft. We had them put more anchors for the solar panels in also.
  8. We took our fifth wheel to have the flex armor spray on roof put on. Dropped it off Tuesday morning and picked it up Friday afternoon. Had to make an appointment 2 months ago and got lucky to get the last one in Dec. had rain this morning in Mississippi and can’t believe how much quieter it is and looks great. The guys at Dependable RV in Madison Mississippi take pride in there work something we seldom see anymore. They are one of the installers of flex armor and also a long standing rv repair facility.
  9. Hey Darryl we’ll have to catch up with you one of those days. We’ll be at quartzite around end of Dec. haven’t seen you and Rita since our first rally.
  10. Hey Jim I had a guy I worked with at the power plant in Springfield bring me 3 5 gallon buckets with lids. Pulled the truck front tires up on a couple 2x6 pieces and drained in the 5 gallon buckets. The friend had a friend who has some kind of oil burner to use for heat for his off grid house. I called an orielly auto parts store near us that would take it as long as it was less than 15 gallons. Our holds 11.
  11. Little late but did the first oil change in the truck while we were in a state park in Illinois last month. Easier than the one ton truck.
  12. Happy thanksgiving to everyone. Hope to see some of you this winter.
