We are in Oakely, KS. Left Woodland Park, CO this morning. Drove through HIGH winds all afternoon. In fact they closed west-bound I70 in two places. Weather is saying it is a steady 40mph with gusts to 60mph. All crosswinds. I'd say that it is steady 50mph. Cause at 40 mph I usually do not really "feel" it. But I did today. We will leave early tomorrow to make Junction City before the wind kicks in. Sure is HOT down here.....I'm used to 8500' temps...... -

The law is established by the STATE, unless WY is a lot different than every other state. The county people may TRY to interpret it in the way they want, but if the law is written to allow an HDT to be registered/titled as a MH under certain conditions, and you meet those conditions, then the county can not legally deny you. And the state likely will not allow them to. Of course, that assumes that such a registration capability exists. You will have to research the issue and see. Don't talk topeople until you know the laws - which should be all online. -
MSE for sure. Like Derek I have used them all (or most of them, anyway). MSE does it well, and unobtrusively.

I agree with you that we are in a long run recession. And you SHOULD be smiling.....bet you sleep well.....

I'm still in and will stay in. I moved all my stock market investments to Large Companies, with large dividends, that have significant overseas revenue (and keep money offshore), and have a record of doing better than average in downturns. I'll take the dividends and ride it out. That said, no one should follow my lead. I don't need that stock market money any time soon, and have significant investments outside the market.

Gene, you got an Entegra? Very nice. Where are the pictures. Did you get a Cornerstone? What is NEXT, a custom Marathon? -

I did. You can certainly pull a small Majestic with an F450. It would not be my first choice, but it is a capable truck with the right load behind it. I had zero complaints about my F550 pulling 16K. It pulled it well and stopped it well. IMO, you don't want to be pulling what Ford says you can. But on smaller loads they will work, if someone insists. -

RVGene, if you are considering something like a NH Majestic then your choice is an F450, and MDT or an HDT. The answer is pretty obvious if you want to haul toys or a car. As to the Smart, you will always find people bashing anything. The Smart is perfect as a piggyback companion for an HDT. There is no free ride in any of this. If you want to play, you pay. -

Headed North out of Retama today, assuming things go well. You never know after sitting for 3 months One week in Austin at a friends ranch, then on to Junction City for some cabinets. From there, Woodland Park by the end of the month. Assuming the snow lets us in.... -

Mike & Pats Teton is a GREAT rig. If we had not just bought our New Horizons I would be talking about buying their Teton. I have been in it MANY times, and it is just wonderful, and nicely appointed. This Teton is one of the finest fulltiming rigs ever built. IMO.
