You are certainly welcome to attend, in fact I'm glad you are attending. We will try to answer any and all questions you have and to help you make that decision. Don't forget to bring your snacks and goodies, and whatever you like to drink. As we will try to have informal get togethers if we can during a couple of evenings. We will have a truck rodeo so you may get a chance to drive one a lap around and make a decision. And you can also join the rodeo as everyone will use the same truck. Just come and have fun. Hello Everyone !!

According to Ms.Ramona we are between 35 and 40 attendees so far . WOW !! This ought to be fun Please go to the facebook page East Coast Rally 2024  https://www.facebook.com/events/542351944639295 ( Ihope that works ) to catch all the updates when they are put up. Remember we will try to plan some evenings where we can all meet at our site by the lake and Relax with your favorite beverage and snacks... Just to laugh and enjoy each others company.  We want this to be fun for everyone. I've also had a few new guys and Gals who are just ready to make the jump into the HDT style. I've told them to come and maybe a few of you will let them set in your truck or accompany them on a learners lap in the park. Also , don't forget the truck rodeo. It's for everyone, A lot more like "Fix my truck" " Light up the night" Potlucks, and Mr. Dave and Ms. Vicki Henegar will let us see and talk about their Alaskan trip. Again There is no charge this year, just your camping cost with Deer Run. We'll just put out a donation jug and that's good enough.

We are not charging anything anywhere for the event,other than your stay at Deer Run. So if we all pitch in a little we can make this work. Hello Everyone !!  

I've just heard from Deer Run R V Resort and they will hold our block of sites until  January 15th . After that they will be "open to the world"Please contact them at once to reserve your site. I'm going to try to talk to Mr. Steve and Ms. Ramona Stacy yet tonight as they are working with us to make this happen. But these are my current thoughts........... 

Please remember to bring your table service ( plates, silverware etc. ) as we are on a  very tight budget. If someone wants to step up and supply the styrofoam plates, plastic silverware and cups that would be great. If you are so inclined, please let me know right away. I'm thinking 2 potlucks ( Tuesday/ Thursday) ,Fix My Truck Wednesday , and Truck Rodeo Friday, and a couple of other seminars thrown in , and maybe a presentation by Dave and Vicki Henninger on their Alaskan adventure. Remember this is all fluid at this point and we will solidify as soon as possible.  Your Ideas are welcome,Let me hear them !! 419-466-5984

Yes we did take some pictures. Not as many as we should have,but those who attended had a good time. Especially with the truck rodeo. We are quite busy rite now but will post those as soon as we can. Please plan on joining us this spring !

It will be good to see you again. We are getting quite a few responses. The sites up on the knob that we've always been in are the ones they are helping us with. You'll need to have your reservations in before Oct, and mention you're with the ECR for a slight discount I believe. We will have a few presentations ,some hands on rodeo,and David and Ms. Vicki Henniger will recap their Alaska experience.  And probably eat to much at a couple potlucks😃. Thanks to everyone who attended our truck skill games yesterday. It was fun, and indeed a challenge. Especially the blindfold back in challenge.

Today at 5:00 at site 309 is our potluck. Bring a dish, your table service, your drinks and maybe a chair if you'd like. It should be fun, and we can sit around and tell stories.

Also if you have a project you're wanting to work on or have questions about bring it with you tonight we can at least talk about it and maybe help. A big Thanks goes to our friends from New Jersey and from the East, that worked hard to get here. We're Glad You came and Hope you're having a good time. Remember our skill games at 5 pm today. Bring your spouse for the event as well ,this is a team event. You don't need to bring your truck as we can use mine. That way everybody is on the same playing field.

Thanks to those 2022 ECR folks who have checked in. It's always good to hear from you. Hopefully you can mark it down for next year, as any and all help is appreciated. Carl and Donna did so exceptionally well at what they did I feel like an ant crawling up a mountain. 😁😁

After looking at the weather I am going to try to move a couple of things that Steve and I had planned earlier in the week due to high rain chances later on. So with that being said...

Monday at 5, Semi Skil Games at 5 at (309). Everyone can use my truck ,bring your co- pilot,and 1st and second place prizes will be awarded. 

Tuesday there will be a potluck at 5 pm.at our site (309). Bring your favorite dish, drinks, and tableware. We will  commander another picnic table or two as needed, but your lawn chair probably is more comfortable. I'll have a couple entertaining games for us all after supper too.

Unofficial ECR at Deer Run ,APRIL 22nd - 30th 2023

As we are getting closer to the "unofficial ECR" We encourage everyone to attend if possible. We will have a truck skillathon for single and team, please bring your favorite beverages and maybe a little to share, plenty of snacks, and of course your favorite recipes for a pot luck or two.  There is no fee or any thing of the like, so always bring your tableware and drinks as well. If you haven't reserved your site, please do so right away. Also I'll have a couple of stupid games we all can laugh at. Steve and Ms. Ramona Stacy are helping Ms. Judy and I , and your help is always gratefully encouraged. We hope to see a lot of yall there APRIL 22nd - 30th 2023

 Don't forget there are some of us from the ECR meeting at Deer Run in Crossville Tenn. April 21st -30th And just as a reminder , this is what I received on Nov 18th:

"We have been informed that the Deer Run HDT Rally Organizers have stepped down for 2023 and nobody has stepped up to fill that position. So unfortunately, the rally will not be taking place here at Deer Run next year. With that being said, you all have a reservation during the time that the rally was supposed to take place and you are more than welcome to come stay with us during that time, we would love to have you! If you would like to cancel the reservation, we ask that, within the next 7 business days, you respond to this email or call us at (931) 484-3333, during the office hours of 9am to 2pm CST, Monday through Sunday. We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and hopefully we will see you all next year!" 

That being said we are still attending and invite all of you to get your reservation in and attend as well. We will have a couple of potlucks, Late afternoon 5 ish get togethers, ( bring your favorite liquids )and a few skill events for everyone. If anyone has a tutorial for the group that is welcomed also. Just let me know so we can let everyone else know, and other self inflicted shenanigans. I've included the Deer Run information for quick access.

UPDATE, I replaced the fridge and the new Frigidaire is working fine. The old Samsung went to the shop to be dissected and farmer repaired with an root beer can and put in the house garage. Hasn't dripped a drop......
