  1. Just saw this......Something to keep in mind if you are thinking about using Florida for your health insurance. The Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle Department is currently reviewing their requirements for registering vehicles/vessels and the issuance of Florida Driver’s Licenses to individuals who live full time in their RV’s or Boats. During this period, they have suspended issuing new Drivers Licenses or registrations to individuals who utilize a mail forwarding service for these purposes.
  2. I live in WA when I am not traveling in Chimacum near Port Townsend. It is a 55+ RV park for leaseholders but I do think you can rent monthly but it is time limited. I live in my RV in the winter in WA no problem with cold or moisture. It is a Class B Roadtrek van. It is nice to park the RV and walk on the ferry in Bainbridge island to commute to Seattle. I have parked at the casino and taken their shuttle or the bus to the ferry terminal.

I am not Medicare age yet but researching the new MSAs that offer a nationwide PPO under Medicare advantage supplement for $0 that is not available in all states.   Do you know if Medicare allows the same domicile vs residency options like the ACA.   My domicile is WA but ND has better insurance options and I can document residency there.  This Medicare Advantage PPO is available in ND but not WA and my doctors if I were to get sick would likely be in ND.

May need to change my domicile state ......   and I thought Medicare would be easier than ACA.

  4. Workamper.com just did a feature on positions for singles in their magazine
  5. Some of the cruise jobs in hotel and transportation will give you money to fly here to work
  6. The Alaska Sealife Center in Seward is still looking for an RV volunteer. You have a free waterfront RV spot in exchange for 20 hours a week. Contact Anna Pullins Direct: (907) 224-6327. You work in the aquarium taking tickets, café or giving tours
  7. I believe my neighbor had their computer held for ransom when they streamed.
  8. It always surprises me that so many people use the Park WI FI. Security is pretty much non existent at these and often the neighbors in the area are also accessing anything without a password or have found a way to get the password
  9. Used Roadtrek's can be found at roadtrekchapter.org
  10. I am about to join the 2016 class of fulltiming with a pending closing in the next few weeks of my home. I actually haven't been to my home since Oct 2015 when I had thought this same buyer had sold their home and were going to move in. I have been volunteering for 5 years in the winter to escape WI and have worked via computer winding down my healthcare management career. That job via computer will be ending soon so fall 2015 worked in Yellowstone for end of the season. Volunteered again this winter in state parks and put money down on a wait list for the Escapee park near Port Townsend WA (grew up in WA but have not lived there for 30 years) to establish a new domicile since WI would not allow me to keep health insurance if I traveled long term out of state. This summer I worked in Medora ND at their campground, am filling in in Rapid City SD at a KOA for end of the season and will be leaving in a couple of weeks to TX where I will work at Amazon. I will also be picking up my 2016 Class B and saying goodbye to my 96 Roadtrek with 218,000 miles that I bought 5 years ago used with 86,000 miles. Hoping to work with Holland America/Princess Cruises in Alaska in the summer.
