  1. Al, I am registered as a Motorhome. I see nothing on my papers from Miller that refers to "Class". It does say "usage" and that heading lists "pleasure/commute". I am by no means shilling for Miller but when I talked to them several times on the phone they knew exactly what my truck was and what its use was. The agent told me their agency had been dealing with our kind for many years. Again I searched numerous places for coverage so I have no loyalty to one agency or brand of insurance. I'm out to get the best coverage for the least I can pay. If one companies premium was higher and the coverage was better, I would go with it.
  2. They actually asked if I was full time so I assume they cover it. Since we have no plans to be, I didn't explore any further.
  3. I just bound my policy with National General through Miller Insurance Agency (503) 636-6347. I am moving from Blue Sky due to the underwriting difficulties they are experiencing. My new policy has the same coverages and actually a better personal effects coverage and is $15 less than my Blue Sky policy. I specifically asked about coverage for tandem trucks since that issue was brought up here and my agent with Miller said it is usually not an issue. They did require pictures of my rig. Just wanted to get the info out there for those still searching for coverage. BTW I spoke with State Farm, Progressive, Farm and City, Allstate and this was the best (and cheapest) coverage for me in TN.
  4. So glad you are able to attend the 2017 ECR and conduct the RDBE meeting on Wednesday. We have missed you.
  5. My Kubota B7200 is 18hp and 14hp at the PTO. I have a 60" bush hog, 60" pull behind finish mower, and box blade. No trouble with operating any of them. Have had the bush hog in 48" overgrowth on our hunting lease and it did just fine. Just went slow.
  6. I have a 15 y.o. Kubota B7200 with the hydrostatic transmission. In the 15 years only real problem was that I had Woods front end loader hydraulics valves rebuilt. Replacement Kubota branded parts are expensive (metric) but I found with a good bench grinder I can make tractor supply turnbuckles work for a fifth of the price. I also have a John Deere lawn tractor ( basically a riding mower) bought from the John Deere Dealer not Lowes or HD which are knock-offs. My only complaint with John Deere is not the equipment but their customer service in my area, but that's a story in itself.
  7. East Coast Rally Update: Several days during the rally there will be a scheduled ladies crafting/ social gathering. Donna has been working with Alicia White ( thank you Alicia) and they have come up with crafting a scrapbook detailing the ECR, HDTing, and each person's involvement in their RVing adventure. The plan is to allow each lady to create two pages front and back that would best illustrate their personal adventure. Basic scrap booking supplies will be provided but they are asking for any lady wishing to be involved to bring any photos, mementos, etc. that they wish to include. The hope is the book can be displayed at the BBQ dinner on Friday night and at happy hours if completed prior. Those ladies not interested in participating are still invited to show up for "socializing" and arm chair quarterbacking. Alicia will also be conducting the RDBE meeting at the ECR.
  8. Steve, under options, look at "Gail" for the top of the line back massager
  9. I'd just get a pilot's and co-pilot's seat from that 747 you fly!!
  10. "We will NEVER buy a truck that big!" Spindrift, Have her spend some time with my wife at the ECR and she may have a change of heart. My wife loves traveling in our Volvo and would be very disappointed to go back to a smaller vehicle. When I did my research and suggested an HDT she had that "deer in a headlight look" but that quickly changed to a grin.
  11. Sorry to hear of your troubles Raymond. Had my harness replaced last year and was pretty expensive ($1500 or so) but I leak no oil now so worth it. Say hi to Gregg for us and may the rest of your travels be in uneventful
  12. Hello from East Tennessee: It is raining cats and dogs here today and expected through the weekend. Carl and I finally finished loading all the pictures onto Photobucket and posted the slideshow links for everyone to view. We had a wonderful time at the 2013 ECR and would like to thank everyone again for coming and for the wonderful gift basket presented at the BBQ the last night. We look forward to seeing everyone at next years ECR and hope to make even more friends. Safe Travels, Donna
