alan0043
Hi Everyone, Are slam latches adjustable ? I would like the doors on the storage hole to close a little tighter. I don't see any adjustment. Or does shim's need to be used ? alan0043
I'll try to post a picture a little later. The latches are from Lippert Components ( LCI ). 2012 Volvo VNL 630 w/ I-Shift; D13 engine; " Veeger " Redwood, model 3401R ; 5th Wheel Trailer, " Dead Wood " 2006 Smart Car " Killer Frog "
Pat & Pete
Generally , the striker plate or latch catch is adjustable on most slam latches . I've had to bend one of ours to keep it snug , but , that was a quick roadside 'repair' and could have been and was later adjusted properly with the right tool . Goes around , comes around . remoandiris
If you can't adjust the latch, can you get thicker gaskets for the opening?
