Gas Buddy??

Just got an e-mail from Gasbuddy and from what I could gather they now have a service that you use a "Gasbuddy card" (I think) and you save money every time you gas up, regardless of what type of station you use...anybody else have this or know more about it??

I got one of those messages also and went to the site and read the material but still do not get just how it works. I did find the following information.

Only a personal checking account can be linked to the Pay with GasBuddy card. 700 of the top US banks can instantly be linked by using your online bank credentials. If you cannot use or don't have online bank credentials, you can link your checking account through your routing and account numbers. 

 

 

I won't be in any hurry to jump in, since I'm already getting 2% back which comes to almost 4¢ per gallon.

I agree Kirk.  I use my Sams MC for 5% in fuel rebates.  Plus I just signed up for the Shell gold program which earns me 5% plus my credit card 5%.  

I heard about the new program when I updated my Gas Buddy last week. Plus I do not wan my bank account info out there.

Get a BlueBird (American Expres) card.  They're free (No annual fee nor any monthly fees - they are totally free and don't erode any monthly ballance)  The card can be funded from many sources (Walmart, Walgreens etc. where you can fund the card with cash or from another debit card)  The best part is they give you an Account /Routing at American Express Centurion Bank you can use for direct deposits.
