HamRad
My neighbor has a very old, round single LNB DirecTV dish. What sat should it be aimed at for his SD receiver? Probably the 101. But why not get an updated dish. They are most likely free or at least very very cheap. I just threw away about three of the 18 inch oval ones. Simply check with any local satellite dealers. Al F
Amazon has a 3 LNB dish for about $47 plus $19 shipping. There are others available. Do a search on Amazon for "direct tv dish". chuckbear
Definitely 101. It will give them all their channels, just in standard definition. If the receiver is not HD, having an HD dish will be of no value.
