ashton23l
I am installing a stay longer LP kit, but my question is, where do i transport my extra LP tank?
Dutch_12078
What RV do you have? I carry a 30 lb auxiliary DOT cylinder upright in the bin next to the onboard tank secured by two bungee cords. I added a floor level vent to the bin since LP fumes are heavier than air. Do NOT transport an extra LP cylinder lying down... Dutch_12078
Ok, check the height of the most convenient bin to see what size cylinder will fit standing upright. A couple of eye bolts or similar will serve as anchor points for securing it. A floor level vent can be as simple as drilling a dozen small closely spaced holes low on a sidewall and fabricating a cover from piece of plastic or thin metal. When mounting it, cut a small piece of window screen to place over the holes first to keep insects out. Or just find a small vent at a hardware or home improvement store.
