oldjohnt
Boondocking near Eastpoint or Carrabelle Florida QuestionIn December I hope to be near Eastpoint and Carrabelle Florida and have stayed at St George Island State Park but its booked up. I'm looking at Tates Hell (Apalachicola) State Forest "Cash Creek" or perhaps "High Bluff" primitive Campgrounds and wonder if anyone has been there and can speak to how long or rough or narrow or muddy the access roads are from the Scenic Coastal 98 Highway. Cash Creek is North off Highway 65 and looks like the closest from the Scenic Coastal Highway ?? I read something about boondocking just off Highway 98 at 2418 Big Scenic Byway but cant find any information, anyone know if there's free dispersed camping just off the Highway there?? I'm familiar with and have stayed at Sopchoppy and other places but only interested in Tates Hell as close and easily accessible from Highway 98 in this postingJohn T
