Medicare, Tricare for Life, and Dental Coverage

I am considering adding dental coverage (probably Delta Dental) to my standard Medicare with  Tricare for life as  second payer.

Would it be better to go with a Medicare Advantage plan that now covers dental along with TFL?  I can find no info that provides that choice for retired service folks.

Any advice/or info is appreciated.

From what I was told at a recent TFL Q&A, is that the TFL serves as a supplement to the Medicare Advantage Plan.  The Medicare Advantage Plan becomes the primary insurance and pays first for the covered medical expenses.  Then TFL pays afterwards.  The representative said that many military retirees go with the TFL for the extra benefits it provides.
