NeverEasy
I conuld not find a "contact us" link when I clicked the "Submissions" tab so I thought I will have to put it here. The SD registration info is incorrect. A converted truck to RV can be done and is done. Here is the link to the SD form. https://www.state.sd.us/eforms/secure/eforms/E1827V3-AffidavitForTruckTractorConvertedToAMotorhome.pdf I went in prepared with all the document requirements. The only form they wanted to see was the weight slip.

The only form they wanted to see was the weight slip. The Contact US was temporarily remove because some foreigners were using the Contact Us as a email spoof. But for South Dakota, there clearly is a link to SD 32-3-65 what is the Code Text for the conversion of a truck to an RV. So "incorrect" is wrong. Perhaps you are volunteering to take over the Resource Guide. Adding the link to the form can be done.

NeverEasy
Bad position sensor on throttle pedal. They don't just sell the position sensor. It comes mounted on the throttle pedal.
NeverEasy
Quote from Resource Guide: "HDT conversions for private use can be registered as either Commercial or Non-commercial in SD, however there are currently No Registrations Offered in SD as an RV or Motorhome for converted HDT's. Strictly registrations as a Non-commercial truck." End quote. I see some things got changed but it still says the above.
Mark and Dale Bruss
You will note that the Resource Guide is a compilation of submitted information from threads in the Escapees Forum. That statement was submitted by 10-9jc and identified as so. We do not go back and delete submissions, we add as changes happen. This kind of nit-picking is probably a sign for the retirement of the Resource Guide.
