SWharton
My son-in-law gave me his Linksys EA3500. Is there anyway I can connect this to my Mobley. Keep it simple. Thanks
Bill Joyce
It doesn't look like it. The Mobley can connect to some devices via USB cable and others via "Wifi as WAN", for routers that support that. The Linksys only connects via an Ethernet cable. 2004 40' Newmar Dutch Star DP towing an AWD 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid, Fulltimer July 2003 to October 2018, Parttimer now. SWharton
OK. Worth a try for the price. It does have a USB port for what it is worth. Thanks

Thanks They buried the USB port on their website. You can see if it will work using a microUSB to USB cable. SWharton
Thank you. We are getting ready to travel so it will be a few weeks before I will enough time to play with it. Worth a try.
bigbillsd
You could use one of these Nanostation Loco to wirelessly connect to the Mobley and plug the Loco's Ethernet into one of your linksys LAN ports sharing the internet connection. That way you configure all your devices to point at the linksys SSID and password and can share the Mobley's internet connection to as many devices as you want. Directly connecting to the mobley only allows 5 connections. -Bill 2006 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40QDP Freightliner XCR, 400 hp Cummins Toad 2014 Chevy Equinox (DWM) Blog: http://cowlesmountain.com/Travels/ S&B San Diego

bigbillsd
At least the Loco is sub $50! A decent AC router is normally quite a bit more than that. -Bill 2006 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40QDP Freightliner XCR, 400 hp Cummins Toad 2014 Chevy Equinox (DWM) Blog: http://cowlesmountain.com/Travels/ S&B San Diego

You can get a $21 travel router on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DBS5Z0W/ )that can reach an entire campsite that works with the Mobley.. 2004 40' Newmar Dutch Star DP towing an AWD 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid, Fulltimer July 2003 to October 2018, Parttimer now. I have give u p on the E3500 idea, just live with the dropping out. Mine is yellow I don't know if that is any different than the blue.
Bill Joyce
"Mine is yellow I don't know if that is any different than the blue" They quit making the yellow one, so I posted the link to the blue one. I also have the yellow one. 2004 40' Newmar Dutch Star DP towing an AWD 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid, Fulltimer July 2003 to October 2018, Parttimer now.
