Donald Blanchard
we have a Jayco Alante 31y and would like to add a Trav’ler satellite dish to the roof of the coach. Just wondering if the Alante will accept the footprint of the Trav’ler? Hopping someone might have some experience with this particular situation. TXiceman
Best thing to do is to download the Traveler manual from the Wineguard site. It has the clearance requirements for the antenna. The get up top and see what fits where. DKRITTER
I installed one almost 2 years ago and love it. We now have a Hopper 2 hooked to it with out issue. Trav'ler needs 3 things; 1. Space for it to sit, so you need a footprint up top big enough for it to sit, lay down and rotate. 2. Coax going to/from the TV's it will be connecting to. 3. A control cable that runs from the control box inside to the Trav'ler up top. If your RV isn't "pre-wired" you'll have to fish # 2 and 3. I'd also suggest the mounting plate to make it a little more stabile and give someplace for the dish to lay on while in transit. 2013 Newmar Dutchstar 4318 2019 F150 KR 4X4 BlueOx 10K Tow Bar
