charlyhors
What do you guys think of using the slide-out seal conditioner products two maintain the flexibility of seals and protect from UV? Do they damage the rubber? How about just a silicone spray? Other question is as I go around tightening screws on trim I noticed places where the caulking appears to have separated. What is the best kind of caulking to use on trim and Edge pieces exterior
fly2low
Silicone on rubber and vinyl is generally not a good idea. Looks great when you put it on, but will lead to premature drying and cracking Non leveling Dicor for the seams Rich and Carol 2007 Dynamax DQ 340 XL
Smitty77_7
Aerospace 303 for slide seals. Dicor Self Leveling for roof tops. Dicor, or 3M, seal for side of coach applications... And I do not believe silicone will dry our rubber (Seals) (?)... Many products targeted for slide seals, have silicone. I prefer to use UV protection too, and know that 303 has UV protection.
