Kirk W Posted August 4, 2017 Report Share Posted August 4, 2017 At this point, either one should be fine as long as you stay with the chosen one throughout the life of the generator and be sure to change the oil at least once each year, or according to the owner's manual. I stayed with the less expensive oil because we didn't use our generator enough to need oil changes based upon run time but if you will use yours a lot, I'd probably go with synthetic.
