Bobi and Dick McKee
My front wheels have very fine streaks of oil on our 2015 Sportchassis. I regularly check the hub oil level and it is full virtually to the orange mark made at the factory, and just a fraction below the full mark on the window. There is a fine oil residue on the inside of the hub cap. My question is is this normal or is there something else I should check. Thanks in advance, Dick
Alie&Jim's Carrilite
Seal is leaking. I had a hub doing the same thing. Had it replaced and no more streaking. Jim's Adventures Old Spacecraft.... Who knows whats next

Bobi and Dick McKee
it is definitely on the outside of the hub. I wiped down the entire area and will check the plug in the end and the cap on what I assume is the fill port. thanks Dick

I've seen the screws on older trucks holding the hubcap on so loose I wondered how it held oil. To Bobi and Dick; replacement gaskets and hubcaps come with either 5 or 6 screw holes.
