SWharton
My son-in-law just switched to a new router. I can access the wifi fine but no longer have access to their printer. It doesn't show up at all. I had access previously. How do I find the printer again?
Ranger Smith
You will need to go to the printer and set it up for the new network. Did the network name or password change???
SWharton
I am the only one having problems accessing the printer. All the other laptops in the family work fine. The network and password has been changed and I log onto the wifi with no problem but don't see their printer.
Ranger Smith
The IP address of the printer probably changed. You will need to go into printer properties and set it correctly in your computer. Try removing it and reinstalling it and see if your computer finds it. SWharton
When I go into "devices and printers" the printer does not show. If I could ever see the printer I would be able to get it set up correctly but I don't see the printer at all. Maybe I need to download the driver again, have no idea where the driver went to though. skp51443
Does the new router have a guest mode and are you using it? That can hide the local network stuff from you while allowing you to browse the Internet.
