heavyduty
Started to leave for rally and noticed what appeared to be a injector harness leaking. Got fuel dripping down drivers side front of engine. I am only 300 mi from rally. What damage could occur running it that far and back. Truck is running fine
Star Dreamer
Damage: FIRE We had an injector leak on our dually before we bought the HDT and it caused an engine compartment fire. Luckily I noticed it right away and put it out with only minor damage. 2005 Freightliner Century S/T, Singled, Air ride ET Jr. hitch 2019 46'+ Dune Sport Man Cave custom 5th wheel toy hauler Owner of the 1978 Custom Van "Star Dreamer" which might be seen at a local car show near you! rdickinson
My injector harness was leaking but it was leaking at the front top of the engine and leaking oil not fuel. It was leaking enough to spew oil down the front of the motor and looked pretty grim. The leak at that stage was not terribly serious but had it progressed, oil would infiltrate electrical components inside the engine and cause major problems. Is the leak fuel or black engine oil? If it's oil you could probably make it to Hutch.
