Arizona Drifter
I have a 2012 Coachman Mirada. I added some oil and forgot to put the cap back on. I have tried to find a replacement online but nobody list rv's. I have tried to find it using Ford V10 but all of the caps listed don't seem to fit. Any help would be appreciated. Dutch_12078
The Motorcraft part # for your oil cap is EC755. Amazon has them, as do most auto parts stores (or an equiv. brand) even if they don't list the F53 stripped chassis your coach is built on. The same cap fits many other years and models: FORD CROWN VICTORIA (1999 - 2004) FORD EXCURSION (2000 - 2005) FORD EXPLORER 2002 FORD F-150 (2004 - 2008) FORD F-150 HERITAGE 2004 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY (2004 - 2008) FORD F-350 SUPER DUTY (2004 - 2008) FORD F53 (2004 - 2014) FORD FREESTAR (2004 - 2007) LINCOLN AVIATOR (2003 - 2005) LINCOLN BLACKWOOD 2002 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR (2003 - 2015) MERCURY MONTEREY (2004 - 2007) MERCURY MOUNTAINEER 2002
Arizona Drifter
Thanks, Dutch I ordered one from Amazon. The auto parts stores will not let you at anything on their web sites unless you put in a vechicle. I was trying to find a deep cycle battery the other day and I had a terrible time because of the vechicle requirement.
Dutch_12078
Yes, the vehicle requirement bugs me too, especially when they don't list the F53 series chassis. I've usually had good luck finding the part I need listed at rockauto.com, and then I search the web with the part numbers to find the best price and availability. Not surprisingly, I often end up at Amazon to make the purchase.
