charlyhors
We recently removed the 10 year old bent and bothersome patio cover from our 2005 Hitchhiker fifth wheel. We are considering putting on a new 18' patio cover, thinking of going electric, and also considering a 10-12' awning to go on our same side dining/loveseat slideout. We're in Quartzsite right now, and looking at a variety of Carefree patio and awnings offered by the ShadePro company. Just wondering what people would say to look for? Features and Dealers. Thanks. Wenvalley
We had our vinyl awning replaced last month by ShadePro in San Diego. The vinyl awning was eight years old, and was delaminating and you could see daylight in places along the gutter where the sun exposure was the worst. We selected the acrylic style for the replacement, and we added the aluminum wrap around cover to provide sun and weather protection when the awning was rolled up for storage. ShadePro did a pretty good job overall.

rdickinson
I switched my manual awning for an electric and find it gets used more often. The manual was a PITA to pull out and retract.
