  1. Yup, hard to remember everyplace we have been, our blog, campground spreadsheet and travelers point are our saviors LOL!! We enjoyed the Cowboy Museum when in the area and the Fire truck Museum.
  2. It's been in the 70's & 80's here in Southern Oregon so about perfect. Some off & on again sprinkles today so far. Might be a lazy day inside.
  3. 102!!! I turned the fan un just reading that. Time to move a little farther north than Tempe, but Tempe is a fun town. We loved the Piano BAr there and the pub called the Library on a Friday night with all the college kids LOL!!! .
  4. Not much to report from us. We are back "home" to do the Real Life stuff like Dr. appointments and such. Speaking of that Diane just got her test results back and it's one more year cancer free!! It's always stressful coming back for that test so it's a huge load off again.
  5. It's almost funny now looking at the map. It's like the weather warmed up and we had a supernova effect and we all scattered around the map.
  6. I'm beginning to think you guys are just thrill seekers.
  7. We rolled into Eugene Oregon a couple days ago, going to have a A/C unit fixed, get service done on the motorhome and then roll down to Grants Pass where Dr., dentist, auto, financial advisor, trying to sell a car and trike and other appointments will take over our life for a couple weeks, uuuuugh. Thank goodness we have a number of friends in the area to numb the pain LOL!! Everyone stay & get well.
  8. Actually have had no problem at all. Diane just a little on the golf course in Likely because they had just mowed. But I'm sure it will happen soon enough this summer. Not looking forward to it LOL!! Like anyone would except the medication suppliers.
  9. We have made it back into Oregon. We spent a few great days in Likely Ca. before making the run to Central Oregon where we are mooch docking at friends outside of La Pine. Been bike riding and hiking some and catching up on things. This is the 3rd fulltime couple we know that are now going off the road and doing a house within the last few months . They have a nice setting and we are happy for them. We will hang out here for maybe another day or 2 and then head west. We have an appointment to have a air-conditioner looked at on Monday in Eugene.
  10. You play that little trick on the Niece & Nephew and they just might grab your stash of Kleenex away from you and use them like a carrot on a stick in front of an old horse and lead you all the way to the east coast. Glad to hear the seizures seem to be letting up.
  11. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to this stuff but I have always hated the saying "you don't loose money unless you make a transaction". It's like buying a gallon of milk and saying out will never run out of milk if you don't drink it in a way. I guess a car won't loose money if you buy it, park it in a field and leave it either. Sorry, just never understood this part of investing. But just because I don't understand or really agree with it we do have our largest chunk of money doing just what the saying says LOL!! But I'll tell ya that we have a small amount that I take in and out just a few times a year that has made more money than the "left alone" portion over the last 12 months. Let me once again say that I'm probably the least knowing person on this thread when it comes to this stuff so excuse me if that ruffled feathers.
  12. Yup, as Jeff & Roger said, we will be trying our first attempt at a 3 month stay in one spot in Casa Grande between Oct 15 and Jan. 15th. We have stayed there 2 times for 1 month so far and enjoyed it and now with Roger & Lynn going to be there it should be a breeze. After leaving the Hawthorne Nevada area we went to Washoe Lake State Park outside of Carson City for a few days of dry camping. Loved the place but man we had some wind and it got darn cold at night. I think we came north to soon so what did we do yesterday!!?? Drove 180 miles farther north LOL!!! We are in a nice park in the middle of nothing with a nice snow capped mountain out our front window and full hookups and on a golf course. Just a couple nights here before making another move.
  13. If you do the Phantom Dance and you have a disturbance between the transmitter and copter it should return to the place to took off. I'm sure it's the same with the 3. BUT if the last place you did "The Dance" you might mistake it as a fly away.
  14. We have made a couple more moves. After a couple nights in Q we headed to Laughlin and spent 3 nights, then to Pahrump and spent 2 nights and drove 260 miles today and are now dry camping by Walker Lake outside of Hawthorne Nevada. Got some good wind right now, heck I keep waiting for surfers to get out on the lake with the white caps there are!! Nice spot with a great lake view. Plan to spend 2 nights here but if the weather doesn't change we might just stay hunkered down until we run out of water anyway. Probably have enough onboard for 4 days maybe 5 but I'm sure it will clear up by then. It's worse where we are headed so no need to make that move LOL!!
  15. Well hell Lee, we are sorry to hear about your luck. We hope you get past this bump in the road soon.
  16. Damn thieves. I saw a bike get stolen at one campground (un-knowingly) and had my bike seat stolen at the same campground. We will be staying at the same campground while visiting friends and doing the DR. thing in about 3 weeks and our bikes will be going to storage while there. I sometimes feel funny running cables and locks on our items at every,,, EVERY campground we stay at BUT!!! Sorry you had this happen guys.
  17. Congrats!!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine. A whole new world has just opened for you as far as photo's go.
  18. Yup, we to have started our move north to visit family & friends and Dr. appointments. We moved from Casa Grande on April first to Plomosa Road for 2 nights in Q. Then we made a move to Laughlin Nevada for 3 nights and will head to Pahrump in the morning for probably 2 or 3 nights.
  19. Not a problem getting a 2 without a camera and adding this ... http://www.dji.com/product/zenmuse-h3-3d to mount your GoPro to. I don't know about now but they used to have issues with the gimbal on the Vision model but that may have been changed by now. The gimbal was weak but he Zenmuse hold up very well. And yes, prices have come down a lot from when I bought mine.
  20. Yup, I'm here. I guess it all depends on what you want to do with it. I opted for the DJI Phantom 2 and put a aftermarket gimble and a GoPro camera on it and transmit a live feed to a 7" color monitor. But the main purpose for me was to take pictures and video. At the time it was among the best on the market but that was over a year ago so things have changed but I'm happy with what I have. Some of the small ones are even more difficult to fly I have found LOL!!
  21. We have 2 more full days where we are now and then we start a slow move north. Will probably end up in Q again on Aprils 1st for a couple nights before moving on. I bet it looks a little different than it did when we left there in Feb.
  22. We are happy to hear that Carol in on the mend.
  23. Well we hope the eye heals soon for ya. And as far as Peyton retiring the only concern for me is,,, who will I hate next year!!!! LOL!! I know I know, haters will hate.
  24. Come on Jeff, you know full well what winterizing is..... it's when you turn the key and drive south.
