  1. That's right!!! You're the one that told be about that old beast, geeezzz I forgot LOL!!! A geezer moment.
  2. Well,,, do you have returning to that area on your bucket list? Safe travels.
  3. Did you check our Robertson's Gold King Mine on the outskirts of town while in Jerome? I LOVED hat place and Carol could get some great pictures I bet.
  4. Looking forward to sitting around a fire with a cold one so we can pick your brain about that part of the country. It's still on our radar.
  5. I'm just getting over my cold and Diane is on the mend LOL. But the main reason is we somehow ran through out data pretty fast this month and have been holding back. We just made a move from boon-docking at Painted Rocks the last 10 days with a few other Class-Less off and on to Tucson where we will have full hookups AND WIFI for a couple days.
  6. Looks like that place is going to be party central LOL!!
  7. Ok thanks, yup we stayed at Organ Pipe a couple years ago and loved it but thought we might try something different before heading to Tucson for a few days.
  8. Where do you guys stay around Why and Ajo? Do you stay at the Howling Coyote place?
  9. Being a die hard KC fan I didn't have a horse in this race but really wanted Carolina to win I guess because Denver has always given KC such grief being in the same division and all. But on he flip side I was sort of rooting for the old man to pull it off (IF THIS IS HIS LAST SEASON). But when Newton didn't jump on that fumbled ball near the end I figured to heck with him, he didn't want it bad enough so really didn't deserve it. In my mind it really was a fairly poor game and the ad's were a disappointment as well.
  10. Well dang, we have been hanging out here in Q for right at 5 weeks now and I think it's time to make a move. Maybe to the Painted Rocks outside of Gila Bend for a few days but I think we need to have hookups for a night or two before boondocking again. Didn't I read here where someone stayed at the small park behind the Shell station in Gila Bend? If so is it a good enough spot for a night or two to do laundry and take on fresh water?
  11. We survived the wind here at Q as well, blew like the dickens. Almost got up to pull a couple slides in but didn't. Windy today but with luck won't repeat last nights intensity.
  12. Time to hook up to the Jeep and let it pull ya out when it dries out a bit.
  13. I will need to send Diane over to your place to watch the game,,,, I'm a KC fan and it may not be healthy for our relationship to watch that game together LOL!! Plus you guys can all cry together and I won't need to see it LOL!!!
  14. I don't know about shocked, and in fact I probably know less about the market than 95% of the people on here but I just called the broker and pushed some more $$$ in. If it goes down next week we just might do it again. Hmm,,, I might need to look for work LOL!!!
  15. I thumbed through a bunch of pages but didn't stumble across the dates everyone was talking about getting together this year in Q.
  16. I had to start closing he windows in the RV during KC games after getting a few comments from neighbors, none that were mad but just the same LOL!!! But I can't help it. When we had our dog he would always go find a place to hide.
  17. Well,,,, it was fun for Packers & Chiefs fans!!!!!
  18. Not knowing the earlier confirmed dates until now we did make plans with another group for a early get together (almost the exact same dates) hoping the Classless gathering would be roughly the same time as last year and we could just move on over. BUT we do want to spend time with the Class-less so will need to think about changing our plans or move over after the other gathering in hope some Class-less folks will still be hanging around. So, don't use our headcount in the planning just in case.
  19. We stayed here for 2 weeks last year about this time and enjoyed it, that's what brought us back. Sorry you didn't find the people friendly, maybe we just got lucky. We even had people walk up when they saw our "visitor" tags and offer to share there table over Christmas if we didn't have anyone to share it with which we thought was very kind. We had friends here that actually had the Ranch House reserved so we were covered but the offer was nice. And had people invite us to their sites for Happy Hours and other activities. Maybe if they remember us it might be different this time around LOL!!! We really like the "out in the country" feel here.
  20. Time for another move. After 6 nights here in Yuma we are headed to the Escapee park in Aguanga Ca. today. We will spend 28 nights there and then head to Q. At least that's the "plan" right now. We may toss in a stop in Borrego before Q. Or the HUGE IF is we might MIGHT get the itch and beat feet to Southern Texas. I have a real hankerin to check out that area but maybe after hearing reports from Roger while they visit the area that thought could get squashed. A fast trip to Texas like that would be so out of character that I have a hard time imagining that would happen.
  21. There is a great Pancake House across the street and to the right of the campground.. Jus sayin.
  22. Dang man, that's just to much rain. Do you have air in those tires??!! Maybe you better use them before they date out.... or rot. LETS GO KC!!!!
