Plus, the added benefit of getting some exercise by cleaning snow off your truck and camper. Be careful...no slip and falls.

Put somes chains on her and let her rip! 75* today.

If I was an adjacent property owner I'd be happy...even in the face of promulgating another law.

What a newbie! I don't see a WD hitch.

If you haven't already done so, mosey on over to the Resource Guide where you'll find a listing of HDT friendly campgrounds. In addition, there are BLM guides for camping/boondocking on Federal lands...if you're up for that kinda' thing.

Merry Christmas, y'all from south central Texas. Warming this week to the low 70s just in time for our traditional New Year's camping trip.

THERE IS NO GRINCH IN CHRISTMAS!!

Does anyone have a pic of their coach with the awnings either in or out...preferably both?

We're on our second Arctic Fox and we've just begun planning for our retirement with our third, and final, fifth wheel. I approached AF for the build and unfortunately, they couldn't see fit to include the floor design we requested. That's the ONLY reason why we had to take a pass on this purchase.

That should mean that shades would be more effective, in my opinion.
I'd prefer to see out of my windows during daytime hours.

Do you have dual pane windows or single pane? The reflective insulation does more than to just shade the window because it also insulates, much the way that dual pane glass helps.
Dual pane.

Looking forward to being members of the Class of 2025.

Simply walking from shade to full sun should give you a pretty good idea of the benefits of awnings .
I know we wouldn't be without .
So you would think they would be used to a far greater extent than they are. I thought my example of using the reflective window coverings would have shown that their use has obvious benefits. 😉 However, that doesn't address the cost/benefit question.

Does anyone have real world data illustrating before and after interior temps after installing window awnings? Maybe not the smartest idea I ever came up with but we finally had the opportunity to spend some time at Palo Duro Canyon S.P. in Texas and it was HOT. Went into town and purchased interior, reflective window insulation and it it made quite a difference to the tune of some 8*-10* drop in interior temps. I'd like to evaluate the cost/benefit for the addition of window awnings.

Our son spent yesterday holed up in Truckee, CA. He sent a pic if his ttruck covered in snow. Crazy, almost five feet by that time.

So yours is installed in an RV or sticks&bricks?

Lol...I did the same thing.
Go to "edit" and delete the excess lines.

Has anyone bookmarked particularly good resources for learning more about the good, the bad and the ugly regarding these systems?

Certainly enough power for any fifth wheel you might be planning to tow. A thirsty engine that has a good reputation for reliability.

MudFlap isn't too bad if you travel in the areas where they have coverage.

Good things come to those who wait.
Happy Halloween!!
