Electric floor heating pads need a subfloor on top of them. The elements will telegraph through the epoxy.

Tough to tell from the pics. Tire shop visit time.

Well, their neighbours happen to be a couple Hutterite colonies, so... I might be wrong on their total acreage, but I think I'm close. As you get further from the farm, I don't want you to forget words like rhizome, and Post-emergent. I think you've sampled Crown Royal, in all it's varieties, but that's a Rye set for an American taste. Most of the Ryes I used to prefer weren't as sweet, and had a fuller taste. All of our local micro-distilleries have award winning labels in various world competitions, so we're pretty proud of them. I think they all have a brandy style liqueur based on a local fruit, the Saskatoon. We got lots to entertain around here.

We got contacts involving distilled grain products, too. Not that skunky bourbon, mind you. Mostly Canadian Rye whiskey, along with some birch tree Gin, and some kinda Vodka. We got us an airport, so as not to exclude the more sedentary members.

This is aimed at Dave Larue, and Rickeieio, specifically, but is open to any other travellers. If there's interest in a farm visit and lunch out, we have contacts to a medium size farm locally. It's a grain operation, running around 50 quarter sections. I've got some other contacts for other day trips, some involving fermented grains. Let us know if there's any interest.

Just found this thread. My child bride and I are leaving south-east Indiana in a few days to meander to Alaska. We took the old rig up there in 2010, the year we turned 60 and celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. Now, 10 years later, we're going again, and not being in any hurry.
So far, I have one night's reservation in Wisconsin, and plan to stop in South Dakota and North Dakota to visit friends. All other plans are cast in jello. We'll likely roll into Grande Prairie for a night or two, and visit with Darryl and Rita, from this forum.
If you see a bright red KW hauling a white smart car, and towing a red/white/black Newmar toyhauler. that'd be us.
What's that saying? "We'll keep the lights on?" or something like that. We're busier this year, to date than last, so reach out a day or three before you arrive. Make sure you get a spot.

Apologies, Rod. I bumped it once, then lost track of it for you. I did see the latest video, but didn't put the two together. GLWS.

Ever since my oilpatch service career, just no. NO!

I don't think you're getting enough eyes on it, Len. The year isn't that old, the mileage is low. If possible, get more, better, pics online to share here. The photo hosting here is trash. I'd also advise sites like RVT.com, RVTrader.com, even your local Craigslist.

Ain't nobody gonna tell him it's never "really" done? There's always something tempting you, either to add, upgrade, or repair. Looks good, though.

And honestly, in a crisis situation, I'm not shopping vets based on how many alphabet letters are behind their name. More likely I'm looking for one that even has exam room availability, as vets are very busy, and can shop their clients vs. clients shopping their vet.

If you're counting on having equipment worth passing down to future generations, Harbor Freight isn't the place to buy anything with a cord. Pull it apart, focusing on wire connections. A bad solder joint will only get worse with use, before getting bad enough to fail. Check out the trigger switch, if the solder joints all pass inspection. I've had a HF variable speed drill switch fail to all or none mode.

We came through on I-15 today, and road conditions were much better than this. That's a horrible thing to have happen. Hopefully the contents are recoverable, as the trailer looks pretty hurt. No blood equals a minor inconvenience in our travels, but the heartburn and heartache will make you suffer.

MIL stories always need a drink in hand. And several ready in standby mode.

Shouldn't we be wishing a Cranky Birthday? Don't want to upset Mr. COB.

In contact with Vern. He's crawling over the pallets of parts, looking for treasure. He reports many new parts, still in boxes, with part numbers. Even found a Volvo wire harness, but I don't have the part numbers for it. Anyone looking for truck parts or a project truck should be hitting the auction website.

How are you going to vent it? Every outdoor kitchen I've seen has a door over the front, and backs onto interior space.

Posting this for Vern, as he's having some keyboard problems: https://www.gardnerauction.com/upcoming-auctions located in Kalispell, MT. He must be familiar with the sale yard, as their upcoming sale list doesn't have much detail.

Darryl&Rita, which campground in AJ? We were at the KOA twice in January and February, once going out to Q and once coming back.
Carefree Manor, on N Delaware.

To make allowance for driveway dips/rises, on your 96" trailer, I'd use 55". 102" trailer, use 60" clearance.

I've got a thousand dollars worth of Dynamat and Dynapad sitting in the cab of the truck waiting from some motivation and warm weather. I'm going to do a DB test before and after and see if it makes much difference. Doing the doors and floor. Also going to add a muffler to my weed burner exhaust in an effort to quiet things down a bit.
Prepare to totally underwhelmed by the metered difference, but blown away by the perceived difference. The product works, but it's hard to measure.

We're going on 12 years of nomadic travels. We manage a park in Alberta, Canada in the summer, and Apache Junction most winters.

It means the epoxy isn't thick enough to hide the matt/grid. You'll see/feel them. They'll fail from being walked on.
