  1. Steve,we took our bikes and rode all over Cedar Key about a month ago. Its a really cool town. The museum was closed though. We ate at Nick's Seafood, National winner 3 years in a row for Clam Chowda. Best I ever had!! Sue
  2. Its blowing over here in the Florida Keys too. Every day we say we'll put the boat in, and every day the wind kicks up At least the wind keeps the bugs away ( sort of).Sitting here within sight of the ocean does make me realize how much I miss being on the water! Sue
  3. Eric, We'll be in Ft Myers mid February. We'll try and get in touch with you guys before then and see if we can meet up! Sue
  4. apparently it does no harm. there have been several threads about it with the moderators. No one seems to have a reason why we should even have a friends list. it doesn't seem to do anything. I have had several friend requests, but I also had one person who thought I had requested to be their friend, and I hadn't, so, not sure exactly whats going on.
  5. Glad Lee made it ok and that everyone is having fun out west. We just made it into Florida and are freazing our toes off. High was 50 today. Yuck.. hope its better tomorrow! Next week its on to Orlando!
  6. Feel free to talk about us all you want. You might want to ponder how many mosquito bites we get each day, or if we've been attacked by killer spiders or FIRE ANTs. Then you can chuckle, as you sit there in the dry desert, humidity free. UGH. I already envision that this will be our one and only winter in Florida, but hey, you gotta see it at least once! Meantime we fly to Boston tomorrow for a couple of weddings, then on to the Chili and Margarita cook off!

We are meeting with Dale Fenton next week- he and Paul are going to put their heads together and see if they can come up with a smoother ride while we are towing. we're flying from Livingston to Boston for ...not one, but TWO weddings, on the same day, at the same time, so we'll be running around like crazy. Aftet that its on to Terlingua for the International Chili Cook Off!!!! Sue
  9. We are in the Sturgis area, skedaddling down to Hill City before the rally starts next week.I really like this area, its funky and fun. Can't move my marker using Apple products so it always has to wait till I fire up the lap top, which I do much less frequently now that I have an Ipad. Sue

I see the surgeonagain next Tuesday- if I don't need surgery we should be able to head to Q soon thereafter, but obviously if I need surgery, all bets are off. Everything looks good so far, so w should be good to go. Sue

Headed to TX soon, getting new axles shipped. yeah, the trailer is only four months old and we are getting new axles. UGH. Sue
  25. what I love about this lifestyle: as I pick up the phone to make a reservation for tomorrow in Texarkana, Paul says there is a commercial on TV for the Louisiana State Fair. Two minutes later we have a reservation for tomorrow in Shreveport, LA instead! our chalk plan is to be in Livingston for Thanksgiving. meantime, to reduce my internet frustrations, i am hoping to have an Ipad II shipped to me tomorrow, complete with its own data plan.....Merry early Christmas to me!
