Las Vegas Strip - Transportation or Parking Info Please

We're going to be at Duck Creek RV Park in Las Vegas for a couple nights.  Anyone ever stayed there, and if so, how did you get to the strip?  If you drove you own vehicle, where did you park?

The richest are not those who have the most, but those who need the least.

While we never stayed at Duck Creek we have been past it many times. Looks like a typical urban RV park and I see no problem. We rarely go to the strip as we tend to frequent Fremont St. area. We use Sam's Town shuttle from just in Boulder Highway to the Fremont St area. But the shuttles don't run late. I do want to warn you that in the last year most casinos on the strip now charge to park unless you are in the high rollers group! We will probably be in the Boulder City area next week at the Elks Lodge RV Park.

Shuttles/public bus if possible, but Uber/Lyft is the best bet (don't take taxis, they'll rip you off, know from experience).  If you aren't in a rush, you can even use Uber Pool/Lyft Line, which is cheaper but the driver may potentially pick up other passengers on your route to fill up the car and make the trip more efficient.  You can check current rideshare pricing on Google Maps too, which is a good idea since sometimes they'll go into surge pricing during periods of high demand.  We always stay at Main St. Casino RV Park.  It is nothing to look at, but they have very regular security patrols so it is safe, and it is 5 min walk to Fremont St, and the Arts District, which is a gem in Vegas.

Most casinos charge for parking but a few still dont.  The ones I can think of off the top of my head are : Venetian, the outdoor lot behind Bally's, the Linq, and the Stratosphere.  I am limited to those because my vehicle height is 8'6" and most parking garages have lower limits.

We stayed at Duck Creek for one night, although it was for other reasons than to go to the Strip.

We weren't that impressed with the place...our site was unlevel and the front tires ended up being off the ground when using our leveling jacks to level the rig.  We were about as far away from the dog area as one could get...and that was the only place where one could walk a dog.  It's not a good place if you have a dog!

On the plus side, it is (or was at the time) a PA park, so we only had to pay half price.

Would we stay there again?  Only if we have some pressing need to be in town.  Normally, we stay at a free boondocking area out at Lake Mead NRA.
