offroad Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 Britbox and Acorn TV are two different services that provide a connection to the programs available from the BBC. They have more than what BBC america has. Just wondering about experiences with it.
docj Posted May 12, 2019 Report Posted May 12, 2019 We have both. In our opinion there are excellent shows on both. If you like drama it's hard to beat the Australian show A Place To Call Home on Acorn. And Britbox is currently showing the first four seasons of Taggart, the longest running cop show in the UK. And there are many others. The fifth season of Shetland is being doled out week by week right now on Britbox Sandie & Joel 2000 40' Beaver Patriot Thunder Princeton--425 HP/1550 ft-lbs CAT C-12 2014 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L with ReadyBrute tow bar/brake systemWiFiRanger Ambassador Follow our adventures on Facebook at Weiss Travels
harley-dave Posted May 13, 2019 Report Posted May 13, 2019 We also have Acorn, we think it's got a lot of good shows both comedies and drama. We also like the Australian shows like Heart Doctor or 800 words. Dave
