We've been looking for a god used StarCraft 245DS as we like this overall floorplan which also has this bedroom design. The search has been a bit difficult - a recent opportunity sold before we could get there. Many TT's have bedside storage closets that extend all the way to the bed height - leaving no open store area to the wall. In addition to no storage area, this design makes the bed area boxed in - leaving no room for my "flailing arm" sleep style . This may seem trivial or kind of funny to some, but little design features such as this can make a big difference in overall comfort. We've seen a few other trailers having the open nightstand design, but they had other features or condition we did not like. If you have a TT with this bedroom design, please share make/model. freestoneangler Posted April 28, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 28, 2017 I'll add one that I'm surprised the salesman we last spoke to, who is a Jayco dealer, did not point out... the Jayco Jay Flight 24FBS. It's the same exact layout as the 245DS. With Jayco having purchased StarCraft, that makes sense. The question is who had that layout first? We have a 2012, KZ Sportsman Classic. We bought it new and are quite satisfied with it. We did have one warranty issue but it was covered with no problems.
