Jeff.Sloan Posted March 11, 2017 Report Posted March 11, 2017 We are sitting in Sioux Falls, SD right now. 3,400 miles into our 6,500 mile trip. New rear 3.07 air locker is now done, along with speedo reprogram & centromatics installed on steer axle. Lots of good truck services here. We were going to head west on I-90 tomorrow but there is a small snow storm that has the DW spooked. It's cold and I'm ready to drive west to find some warmpth. Maybe we'll compromise and leave on Sunday. Supposed to snow another 1"-3" on Sunday though. No big deal to drive on the Interstate during a "mild" snowstorm, right? ;-) 2004 Volvo 630, Cummins ISX, Eaton 10 speed (air assist clutch), 3.71 3.07 rear locker, ET jr, 200" WB, GearMaster 2017 Forest River Sierra 372LOK Full time June 2017 DW, 2 kids, and 2 dogs
castlewood57 Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 Welcome to SD! We're about 90 miles north. We're expecting deeper snow up here but not until later on Sunday. About 4-8" by late Sunday evening. Wish we could escape the snow but still over 5 years out.
I'mdonewiththis forum Posted March 12, 2017 Report Posted March 12, 2017 I know what you mean. I have been sitting in one place for about four months now. Time to start heading north slowly........
