GlennWest
My slide outs work, no binding or anything like that. They are run with a Dewalt pump. It wants to run after slides are in or out. It will stop after some time. It has stopped running and then start again. Tex Bigfoot
when the same thing happened to me it turned out to be a bad rocker switch .Dirt and grime had built up inside and while the exterior moved fine the actual switch underneath as sticking. GlennWest
You might have it there. It has always continue to operate until all is out or in with or without keeping rocker switch down. Assumed nature of the beast. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Tex Bigfoot
All i have seen you had to hold the sitch manually. This is a safety feature so that the slides can be stopped Mid-travel if needed.
GlennWest
Mine never has but it also controls all 3 slides. I also have outside controls at pump. I can open bypass valves and operate each slide individually. I would prefer 3 rocker switches. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Tex Bigfoot
That should be fairly simple mod to do. spilt the hot at the switch and add two more control wires . then add some solenoid valves at the header
GlennWest
Downloaded the manual for it. I don't have solenoids. I have a manifold that is why only one rocker switch. Will pick up an new one next week. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Flying Finn
Hi Glen, I have a Teton as well and had the same problem. It turned out to be the inline pump breakers that went bad. I replaced them with an 80 amp re-setable breaker and things are fine. The following year the Trombetta (solenoid) located on the top of the pump motor went bad. Another easy fix. Our Teton has the Lippert hydraulic slide system. If you have Lippert components could have similar parts that need to be replaced. Brad

Tex Bigfoot
Glenn You probably know this but..................... be sure the switch that you get is a momentary type ( have to hold the switch in the whole time ) and not latching one ( push the switch and it stays in the position until pushed the other way )
