Luke1 Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 Stopping in South Carolina for the month of November before heading south to Florida and would like to know if there are any campgrounds to recommend.
scouserl41 Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 Not been there but we pretty much rely on http://www.rvparkreviews.com/, the phone apps RVParky and Passport America for all our camping needs from Commercial CG's to Walmart. BnB 2009 Monaco Cayman DP 38' bnbrv.blogspot.com/
whatsnext Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 The best park in the area is Pine Ridge RV Campground near Spartanburg. It's owned by Brad & Cece McGailliard who do a nice job of managing this park. 2016 Volvo VNL780 D13 I-Shift 2016 DRV 44 Houston 2015 Smart Cabriolet
Luke1 Posted November 23, 2016 Author Report Posted November 23, 2016 Thank you for the information. Pine RIdge was full and they recommended Magnolia RV further south on I26. The bathrooms are very nice. That is it! This is why I do not rely on GoodSam parks as this is the third that is a disappointment. My site overlooks a dumpster full of concrete slabs which is right in front of the office, next to an overgrown sitting area. Sure hope Pine RIdge is nicer when they have openings after the holiday.
Retiredin1993 Posted November 25, 2016 Report Posted November 25, 2016 We stayed at Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville last fall and liked it very much, we were on 30 amp and water which was fine for a few days. RonUS Army retired2010 Tiffin Phaeton 40QTH2016 Ford F150 XLT
