rbertalotto Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 I needed a place to store the waste tote for my Toy Hauler. I decided under the belly was best. Wrote a whole article about it with lots of pictures here: http://rvbprecision.com/rv-projects/portable-waste-tote-trailer-storage.html RoyB South of Boston 2021 Dodge 2500 - 6.4L Forest River 19RR Toy Hauler Roofnest Falcon Rooftop Tent www.rvbprecision.com

Newt Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 You did good. I put the wheels down. When I went to use it, no wheels. Newt 2012 HitchHiker Discover America 345 LKSB 2009 Dodge/Cummins LIVINGSTON TX
ronmon Posted October 18, 2016 Report Posted October 18, 2016 Good idea! I did almost the same thing back in '03 except I used 1x4 lumber for the frame, rebar for the "hinge" & a short ratchet strap to raise, lower & secure it. Still usable/working when the 5er was sold in '14. It's interesting how much can be done with storage ideas - shelves, dividers etc to make RV living easier. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. Ron
rbertalotto Posted October 19, 2016 Author Report Posted October 19, 2016 Agreed....there is still more space under there for a few plastic storage bins with a similar lift system RoyB South of Boston 2021 Dodge 2500 - 6.4L Forest River 19RR Toy Hauler Roofnest Falcon Rooftop Tent www.rvbprecision.com
