mesa
This might seem like a silly question but here I go anyway, Would you mount the vent cover facing the front of the trailer where it seems like that would cause even worse gas mileage or face it to the rear of the trailer ? Ed ke6bnl
if you face the opening towards the tow vehicle it will be ripped off by the wind. I think while you are doing the install a cover the goes over the entire vent assembly is a worthwhile add on. can leave vent open during rain or wind and will pay for itself in replacement cost of a vent in the future 2000 National RV Sea Breeze 5th wheel 30ft. Dutch_12078
Installing the vent cover facing the front will also limit how far the vent can open. Face it to the rear as Ed said...
