Inverter battery issue

So it was a battery problem.......... Just not the battery that was suspected. :o I guess I don't understand how that happened as the chassis battery should be isolated from the coach batteries except for charging from a running engine or when cross connected by the emergency start switch.........................

I agree. That is the typical way it is wired. Something must have been modified.

Oh, and on the battery testing.....I have a load tester. It comes in real handy. But is one of those items you don't use often. Actually, I use it to test other people's batteries more than mine. But when you need it, it will save you LOTS of aggravation - and potentially, money. Look HERE for load testers.

Well we are doing a little research with the guys on the Irv2 Monaco thread. They may have input that we aren't aware of about ouyr MH.

I do know that following this trip our house batteries are now charging, via solar, even in a shady location without all day full sun, to 13.9 and when we used the Genny it topped them clear out in no time.

The telling is that we were able to run our big exhaust fan all night (we're told it draws 8 amps) and this morning we were reading 12.8 on the SCP. We could not have done that before this new battery.

Hopefully we aren't overlooking something else
