Bryan294
Hi all and thanks for the add! The wife and I are new to the forum but not new to RVing. Previously we owned a TT when our sons were young, and 2 weeks ago we traded our 2015 Thor ACE 29.3 for a 2016 Thor Challenger 36TL. We had a great time in the ACE, but decided to move our "full-time" plans up a few years and picked up the Challenger with that in mind. Over the past few months we've de-cluttered and sold a bunch of items but of course will still have many decisions to make once the house sells. I plan to retire 31 Mar 2017, so when the house sells we'll be full-timing before retirement and thereafter hope to live a completely job free and un-tethered existence! We plan to secure a Florida address for residency. Aside from that we have some places we'd like to visit over the next few years and look forward to seeing America at a leisurely pace. This week we're setting up our 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for towing, and the coach is going to the dealer for a few days for some warranty work. We'll be on the road in SC and FL for a work/pleasure trip for most of April and we're really looking forward to it! Again, thanks for the add and we hope to learn a lot from all the experienced full-timers!

Chief 62
We fulled time for 5 years and are now just part timers. If you want a good business to deal with for a Florida address and your mail use St. Brendans Isle in Green Cove Springs, Fl. Great folks to deal with. horizon36
We've been full time for 6 years and have no plans to stop for now. We did just sell our RV weighing business and no longer have to follow the rally circuit. We also just bought a membership to an Escapee Co-op and will see how it goes wintering there. We plan to take trips out of there about every 4-6 weeks and be gone for a week or two at a time as we don't think we can sit in one place for 5-6 months straight without some kind of break. We have volunteered for the National parks system for 3 month gigs and had hitch itch by the end of the term. It has been our history to change something in the way we travel or do things every year so far and that has worked well for us. Sometimes its a remodel project, or a new place to spend part of the winter or finding a new route to a rally we had to go to. Now that we don't have to be somewhere (rallies) at a specific date, we'll be able to try more destinations and routes. And as Kirk has said you will be amazed at how fast time flies.
