telcoman
Every year in late June, Okanagan College, which is the main training center for RV Technicians in Canada puts on 3 days of detailed seminars on RV Maintenance. These are far more in depth than you would get at say an RV show seminar, and are well worth it. The college is located in Kelowna, BC, in the gorgeous Okanagan Valley which is much like southern California except with large lakes, 1000's of vineyards (with free wine tasting) and a great vacation destination. It is only 2 hours north of the US border from the Oroville, Washington crossing. The seminars provide free dry camping, great entertainment and some meals. this is the perfect year for Americans as your dollar will go farther. I teach a course on taking your RV into mexico here (Not on the schedule yet, but it will be). There are courses on diagnosing fridgeissues, water heater issues, suspension, brakes, inverters, you name it all taught by qualified RV technician instructors. This is a pretty unique opportunity to get to know your RV better and how to handle many repairs on your own or at least diagnose them.http://www.okanagan.bc.ca/Page17208.aspx
