The monitor sometimes sticks in the backup mode with the chime sounding and the scale still visiable. This happens even if I haven't selected reverse with the transmission. BTW, if I fiddle with the power switch several times, turning the unit on and off, that usually fixes it. Any ideas what is going on? Darryl&Rita Posted April 21, 2015 Report Share Posted April 21, 2015 Next time it acts up, park and look at the reverse lamps. The camera should be triggered off the same switch as the reverse lamps, and it could be hanging up. Fiddling with the monitor power may take the time for the switch to release.
