Taking out a RV loveseat

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry, but I didn't know what subject to put this under and I need some kind of answer by tomorrow, and the RV dealer was NO help.

We have a loveseat in our 5er. We are putting in a futon and our friends are here from SOCal and want the loveseat. I have no idea how this went in the 5th wheel. Do they install them in pieces? I'd like an idea of how this might come out before we start so I don't destroy anything.

Thanks in advance!!!

Christine

For our loveseat, by design, the back of it popped off so we could take it out the door in two pieces. We moved it out from the wall a bit and then, from behind on both ends, just "wiggled" the back free. Not sure how yours is designed...

We moved furniture in and our of our fiver through the large living room emergency exit window. It took a couple of strong young men standing in the bed of a pickup to lift the furniture through the window but it was plenty big enough for a couch to go through it. If you don't have an emergency exit window that unlatches and swings out, you might try removing a window unit.
