yzg
I have been looking at a lot of trucks that are used to pull RVs.. and have seen different wordage and location for the words... Such as: Non Commercial Used only to pull RVs RV Hauler Privately Owned Private Coach One line that is common is "Not for Hire". I have also read this line on company trucks as well.. Is there one accepted message to state that it is not a commercial truck ? Thanks Ian.
Jack Mayer
No. You can put on anything you want. Most People put "Private RV. Not for Hire". None of the signage has any legal standing. It is simply "informative". The largest benefit "may" be to prevent a nuisance stop because of lack of DOT numbers. But even that is debatable.
