  1. Just to help you all keep some perspective, we got temperatures in the mid 50s today and everyone is celebrating. We ran errands until we had to come home for our grocery delivery. Would have been willing to do our own grocery shopping this week if we'd known how nice this ONE day would be. Linda Sand
  2. Do you always cancel in time for us drop-ins to not be turned away from spots that will sit empty? So many people don't, which I find very frustrating. But, we have been the beneficiaries of last minute cancellations so I appreciate that. Linda
  3. I liked not having to decide until it was actually time to stop. FREEDOM! Linda
  4. PPL finally sold our RV!!! We haven't seen any money yet but they called to report it sold instead of pending this morning and our listing disappeared. Doing the happy dance for my exercise today. Linda Sand
  5. Happy birthday, Paul! Isn't it amazing how those just keep coming around every year or so? All our tires are "Sand" tires. Linda
  6. So she can convert lights for the rest of us? Linda
  7. You reminded me this is the weekend Dave said he was going to do our taxes. He hasn't started yet. Good thing it's a three-day weekend. Linda Sand
  8. Got an offer on our RV today. It was lower than we wanted but it is time to sell it so we said OK. Now we're just waiting to see if it actually happens. I'm afraid to hope too hard. Linda
  9. that makes it even harder to persuade yourself you moved. At least is there was a lake or a fence on one side you could move it to the other side. But if the grocery store didn't change, my mind says I didn't move far enough. Linda Sand
  10. When the shops and sights around you don't change it gets harder to believe you are in a different place. Linda
  11. 3:30 am happened here last night. That's what time I finally quit playing my new game and went to bed. I'll have to get that timetable turned around again before heading off next fall. RV parks tend to have checkout times earlier than I got up today. Oh, make that yesterday. I just looked at the time and discovered midnight came and went again. Linda Sand
  12. I was thinking that. He did free work for her then HE took HER to lunch. Sounds backwards to me. Linda Sand
  13. Getting ready for Da Boyz.Think I can get there from here in time? I have that song "I'll be home for Christmas" running in my head--"...If only in my dreams." Linda Sand
  14. Paul, We like this one: Usery Mountain Regional Park US 60 E to Ellsworth Rd N, Mesa $20 W/E; dump; 73 sites; first come; okay internet Linda Sand
  15. Yes, Lee, Vista is the devil. Many people have upgraded by going back to Windows 97. We upgraded by going back to Macs. Linda Sand
  16. Hey, Carol. Welcome to our discussions. Good to see you here. Linda Sand
  17. Y'all talk about me all you want. Maybe I'll start to feel like I'm there. Linda Sand
  18. So glad you are OK; the rig can be fixed as you well know by now. But, I'm not going to see you so some details here or on your blog would be nice when you've recovered. Linda Sand
  19. I feel like we crossed the border going the wrong way today. Snow on the ground here and I'm chilled and can't get warm. You'll soon see me wrapped up in my comforter wishing I had some hot chocolate. Linda Sand
  20. One advantage of being back here at this time of year is knowing where to go and what to order to get a fabulous meal. Linda
  21. We went out this evening for a good steak dinner to celebrate being married 45 years. One advantage of getting married when we were still kids is we still have enough teeth to eat that steak. Yet it's hard to believe that Dave and I have now known each other for 47 years, two months, and 22 days. It seems to have just flown by. Linda Sand
  22. My message this year seems to be let's all celebrate as if we have peace on Earth and goodwill towards all men. Linda Sand
  23. Yay, Terry! Picture me pretending to do cheers for you. OK, maybe not a good picture. Linda
  24. IYQ, Do you take a different cowgirl to dinner each time? It could be hazardous to take the same one too much. Isn't that how you wound up married? I seem to remember you met your late wife through the LOWs. Linda Sand
  25. The very first time we hit one of those stations and got asked the question we had no idea how to answer it. Minnesota? The next time the question was where are you coming from TODAY? That was much easier. The last time we were coming from a park just across the river from Parker, AZ. I reminded Dave before we pulled up that we weren't coming from Parker, we were coming from Earp, CA. That helped. Always try to be coming from California when entering California. Linda Sand
