  1. Need more info on the membership, size of lot, and name of park. Any photos of inside of cabin or link to pictures? thanks
  2. Hello, plugs and new coils were my problem. Mine ran fine, no codes or lights, started and ran smooth untill you stepped on it for more power. After plugs and coils it has more power. Evidently this is a pretty weak spot for ford v10's as mine only has 41000 miles on it and then no power. I have read quite a few have had to change coils and plugs at 50000 miles. Might want to give it a try. Good luck!
  3. Hello, Got word from the shop today and they said the coils were cracked?, needed plugs, and fuel pressure was low. I had just recently had the fuel filter replaced by Camping World so either it was the wrong filter , not installed correctly or possible fuel pump. Not sure but I think the fuel pump is in the tank unless an in-line one can be installed if it is the fuel pump. The rig only has 41000 miles on it and hard to believe I have these type of problems already.
  4. Called my local rv service guy and he didn't recommend getting the Banks system installed. Reason was not enough improvement for the money spent. I tried the 5Star tuner and all I got from that was a terrible engine miss so I will be content with the factory setup on the coach. thanks for all the input!
  5. Trying to get more power out of my 2004 ford v10. I am thinking of getting a Banks system installed (air intake and exhaust) but the only install place listed is in california. Has anyone living in florida been able to get a system installed? Or is an install worth the time and money? thanks in advance
  6. Hello, did you ever locate the problem? I have a 2004 v10 and don't have pinging or any fault lights but once I get to 50-55mph it doesnt have much power to go any faster? I changed the air filter and am changing the fuel filter but.......dont know where to go from here. Any idea's? thanks
  7. I have read that the pcv hose has been an issue (cracking) with the v10 so have been trying to find out how to replace it. It seems as if there was a big change in 2005 to the 3 valve v10 and a few other changes as well as to include the pcv valve. Just wondering if anyone with a 2005 class a v10 with the 3 valves has attempted to replace the pcv and hose or hoses?
  8. Mobile home parks are being bought by large corporations across the country and as a result the lot rents are tripling. The same applies for apartments and condo's in Florida. No rent controls in place to protect people so it's a win win for the corporation. Low income people on social security are in for some hard times.
  9. thanks for the feedback, will get up on the roof this weekend. thanks again
  10. I have a 2005 Fleetwood southwind and there are white streaks (after a rain) down the sides and front of the rv. I guess it has a rubber roof and what i am seeing is oxidation. The local rv store has told me a good scrubbing and coating will solve the problem but only for 6 months and $700 ? Seems like there should be a better way to do this. Has anyone solved this problem?
  11. Was finally able to get it figured out.Got help from tech support at 5 star. Seems there is a problem when trying to program using the 5 star unit. Have to be pretty fast when punching the keys on the programmer. Anyway I got it done and am very impressed with the results. Have yet to see gas mileage results but can feel the power increase for sure. Thanks to all who responded👍
  12. Recently aquired a 2005 fleetwood southwind 32v with v10. Surprised at the low mpg so bought a 5star programmer only to discover the last owner had already programmed it but did not return it to the stock program prior to selling it. So therefore the ecm cannot be programmed untill it is unlocked. Has anyone ran into this before and are there any possible solutions? Gas mileage is around 4.3 so any input would be appreciated. thanks in advance
