Glad to hear you won't make it to Phoenix until Sunday, we are in Gold Canyon to attend a RV airshow and if you came early and brought the rain it would dampen everything LOL!!!
Sorry Dave. I can effect a large area at times. LOL!
Keep your calendar a little open next week. We're going to try to plan an outing for the Phoenix crowd and we have just the place. Grab your cowboy hat and put on your boots! (Also, bring money).
I don't have a cowboy hat and i think my s--- kickers are buried in the closet. LOL! Who has money?

VERY windy today in Yuma. Dust flying like crazy and suppose to rain tomorrow. It almost never rains in Yuma but it has rained several times on us in the 4 weeks (two 2 week stays) we've been here. Moving Sunday to Phoenix for a month then Tucson for Escapade. After Escapade heading for Texas.
Travel safe everyone.

You would have more class if you would quit hanging around Jeri. haha (If she wasn't my twin, she would get mad at me.) Enjoyed our short visit the other day. Got another bottle of that baaaaaad whisky for when we meet again.
Jerry
We enjoyed our visit the other day too. That was really goooood baaaaaad whiskey. I could hurt myself with that stuff. LOL! Next time.

Our stay in Q is over for now. Think we've been here since 1/11. Dave and Diane came by yesterday afternoon with a pizza from Silly Al's. The pizza and talk was good. Thanks. They have both been under the weather lately.
We missed Toni and Doug as they stopped in Q Wednesday. I didn't see an email from her until it was too late. Next time.
We are heading to Yuma today to get new tires on the rv and may stay a couple of weeks before going back to Phoenix for spring training. Our trip to Puerto Penasco got canceled so back to Phoenix sooner than expected.
Travel safe everyone.

We didn't leave we moved to LaPosa South today. LOL. Took over 1 1/2 hours to dump and fill the water tank. How long you staying Dave? Dinner or Lunch?

We moved to Tempe on Wednesday and the Jeep has been running fine. As I was backing in to my space who walks up Jeri and Terry. I didn't know they were moving there too. The next day Coldsmoke shows up too. Haven't seen them in over 2 years. We'll be here for 2 weeks then on to Q.
Went to the Mesa Marketplace yesterday afternoon and dinner with our Daughter , SIL and 1 Granddaughter. Breakfast with both Granddaughters this morning. We are going to get fat if we keep this up.
And yes we moved and it's now gray, cloudy and rainy in the desert. While we were in Yuma I had the RV washed and waxed then it rained twice afterward. Can't seem to shake the rain.
Travel safe everyone.

I must have thrown the right part at the old Jeep. It's running again. I changed out the ICM. We've kind of lost confidence in it so it will build back slowly I'm sure. On the Phoenix tomorrow.

Well we are still in Jeep limbo. After starting on Saturday morning we went out a couple of hours later and it wouldn't start. I messed with it some stopped for lunch then tried again. This time it started again and after shutting it off and restarting several times I took it for a test drive. Tina and I then went to the store. When we came out it wouldn't start. I called the rv park and someone came and got us and our groceries. On Christmas day the same guy and I went and towed it back to the rv park. I'm going to throw some parts at it and if it doesn't start we'll tow it to Phoenix tomorrow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!!!!!!
Joe, down here in the desert Southwest we are very cool (50's) and rainy with some wind. Suppose to be sunny tomorrow.
We have been in Jeep limbo this week. It decided to not run last Sunday. Had it towed to a shop on Monday and got it back the first time Wednesday afternoon. Thursday morning it was hard to start so back it went. Got it back yesterday afternoon and it started this morning. Runs great when it runs.
We had planned to move to Phoenix this past Wednesday, now we'll move this coming Wednesday. There were things we wanted to do here but couldn't without the Jeep. Life on the road.
Travel safe everyone.

Scratch, Scratch, Scratching the hitch itch. We are in Lubbock Tx. Going to the Ranch tomorrow for a week or two. Then slowly on West.
LIFE IS GOOD!!!
Freddy and Delcie
Glad you are able to scratch that itch. We'll see you in Q?
Did you go ahead and sign up for Escapade?
Anyone else sign up yet?
We are considering Escapade before we head for Texas. FMCA has a rally at Rawhide near Chandler the week before Escapade too. Might do that also.

OMG...I'm tellin' you Jeff that yer missin' the boat (ark?). What a great traveling gig. Communities will pay you to rain on them. I'm predicting a soggy Q this year...you heard it here first!
R
Don't forget your rain gear and rubber boots. Think we are sending this stuff your way tonight.

We've been in Yuma for just over 24 hrs and it's now raining. Raining in Yuma! LOL! We have a "gift" or is it a "curse". We seem to make it rain where ever we go. Crazy.

Did they cut back on the boondocking area outside of Borrego as reported?
It didn't seem like it to me. It was our first time though. We were at Rockhouse Canyon Trail. The state park surrounds it. Peg Leg had just down the road had 6-8 rigs, we had 20 or so and not close together. There were a few rigs across the highway from us also.

We left California today. Our last week was boondocking just outside of Borrego Springs. Will be in Yuma for a week then up to Phoenix through the holidays. Plan to see y'all in the area while we are there.
Travel safe everyone.

I was thinking maybe a Christmas get together or lunch since so many will be in the area the week before. Right now I probably won't be going to the PNW for Christmas. Terry may fly up a day or two before and back the day after. I need someone to transport all the packages we've wrapped and it's cheaper for him to fly up with them than to mail them!!
Do you think Terry would swing by Denver to deliver some packages for us? LOL! A get together would be a lot of fun.
Travel safe everyone.

Toni - We weren't going directly in the park but to a boondocking spot outside of town.
Jeri - Hope to see everyone in the area that is why we are staying 2 weeks. Christmas Party? Are you going back to PNW for Christmas?
Jeff
-
Boy! Do I ever understand that ! We're kind of in the same boat. However, we do have reservations elsewhere for January but no idea yet for February!
Going to Q?
Our "plan" is to leave Indio and go to Borrego Springs for a week or so tomorrow. After that Yuma then Phoenix just before Christmas for a couple of weeks. Then to the desert.
Anyone going to do Escapade in Tucson? Guess there are only boondocking spaces left.
Travel safe everyone.

Just a update. My therapist says I am doing great. She is pretty sadistic but has me ahead of schedule. Next Dr. app is the 15th, if he turns me loose we will try to scratch the hitch itch before Christmas.
On another note, We had to put our black cat Colie down yesterday. Had not been well for a while and quit eating a week ago. We are morning but know that he is better off in cat haven. He was 16 years old.
LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
Freddy and Delcie
Glad to hear you are doing well Freddy. Won't be long now and you'll be on the road again. Also sorry to hear about your kitty.

LOL,,, Being a KC fan I don't want to hear about trips to the big game!!! A winning season for us is making it to the playoffs.
Dave, I was a KC Chiefs fan before we moved to Denver in 1972. Boy that was along time ago.

The rain thing has cursed us for nearly 2 years. Look at California and we just drove through northern California imagine if we had stopped for a few days like we did in southern California. Hope there is only a 2 year life span for the curse. Tina and I did not have ice cream we had salads before the pizza. Healthy LOL!
